Springfield Roofing started in 1985 as a general construction company with a simple job: keep Northern Michigan buildings dry. Forty years later, that job has gotten a lot more complicated, and so have we. Today, Springfield is a patent-holding innovator in commercial and industrial building envelope solutions, serving businesses across Northern and Central Michigan and beyond.

Springfield Roofing is based in Kingsley and Big Rapids, and our roots run deep in the communities we serve. We’ve adopted a stretch of highway through Michigan’s Adopt-A-Highway program, supported veteran-related programs, started a Central Michigan University scholarship program, and shown up at local 4-H auctions to support the next generation of Michigan farmers and ranchers.
That commitment extends to our team. Off the clock, Springfield employees coach youth sports teams and hold memberships in local organizations like the Stanwood Eagles and Fife Lake American Legion. We’re also proud sponsors of Kingsley Schools sport and other community events throughout the year. We take part in MiCareerQuest and other programs that introduce Michigan youth to careers in the trades, because the next generation of roofers, welders, and builders has to come from somewhere.
